LOGLINE
A young woman inherits an outback property with a dark history. Hoping to move in and make things right she instead reignites a family feud that will once again soak the land in blood.


SYNOPSIS
A young couple inherit a farm and move to the country for a fresh start but find themselves dropped into the bloody history of the property. After a confrontation with a strange and hostile local, they realise that a century of dispossession and murder leaves more than scars on the land, and they suddenly find themselves in a wild and desperate fight for their own survival.

The script for No Man’s Land was workshopped at the Ugliano Screenwriters Masterclass run by Caroline Goodall and James V. Hart in Volterra, Italy. Alex got in-depth feedback from Hollywood notables Michael Hoffman and Olivia Hetreed.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S CYBER-DREAM

A future-noir adaptation of the classic Shakespeare play. Blade Runner meets Romeo + Juliet with a grunge cyber-punk aesthetic. Designed with audience interaction as part of the film to heighten immersion.

SYNOPSIS
An increasingly repressive society. Young lovers thwarted. Join the grand adventure as our unlucky youths escape from the shackles of an ever-monitoring future in the only way possible. By plunging into the cyber-world of fairies, magic and mayhem.

Alex worked as the director’s attachment to Elke Neidhardt on the Bell Shakespeare touring production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. While working on that production he began thinking of the possibilities offered by a futuristic version of the play.

THE BUSHRANGERS

LOGINE
Just as gold begins to be discovered in early Australia, two men take to the bush to fight against generations of injustice.


SYNOPSIS
A historical action/adventure that tells the story of Rowen Cunningham, the son of executed Irish rebel Phillip Cunningham- who in 1804 led the United Irish Rebellion of convicts against English colonial authorities in Australia.

When the magistrate Samuel Marsden orders Phillip executed and sends soldiers to kill his wife and infant son – he sets in motion events leading to the wild outback childhood of Rowen and his best friend Tomas - an indigenous tracker with his own historical grievances against the vicious magistrate and the brutal society of early 1830s Australia.
